An American ex-pat living in the UK, Shea works between London, LA, and NYC as an interdisciplinary performing artist, educator, and Artistic Director of Indigo Arts Collective. She's a proud member of US and UK Equity and is a member of the Young Vic Creators Program. 

Shea has a BFA in Theatre Performance, BA in Communications and minor in Dance from Tulane University, a MFA in Acting from East 15 Acting School, and a Masters in Contemporary Performance Practice from the University of East London. She recently completed a short course in Dramatic Writing at Oxford University and is working towards her Ph.D. at the University of East London.

Favorite career moments include producing and performing in an International Women's Day Festival at the Hope Theatre, a residency at Shakespeare's Globe where she played Lady Macbeth, and an apperance on Investigative Discovery Channel's Blood Relatives. Recent on-stage credits include off-West End runs at the Arcola and the Tristan Bates, as well as work with the Oxford Shakespeare Company and the New American Theatre, among others. Shea has also appeared in several independent films and shorts.

Her award-winning one-woman show, By the Light of the Moon has appeared off-Broadway and off- West End. It had a successful Edinburgh Fringe run in 2022 with several sold-out performances, followed by an encore run at the Old Red Lion in London.

 

When she's not performing, Shea runs youth education programs and workshops.
